The Mind-Body Fertility Connection

Millions of women around the world struggle with infertility. They often seek out expensive medical treatments to promote conception when the true cause of their infertility lies buried in the subconscious mind.

In my practice, I work with infertility clients every day.  Years ago, I created and developed a program called Hypnosis to Promote Fertility which was specifically designed to work with the mental and emotional components of infertility.  I captured the insights from that work in a book called The Mind-Body Fertility Connection

The mind/body connection is now recognized as one of the most important—and most overlooked—factors in working with infertility.  Millions of women around the world—including over seven million in the U.S. alone—have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility which means there is no physiological explanation for their condition. Women, today, who struggle with infertility are looking for new information and are eager to learn about other options.

This book offers a different perspective on the hidden roots of infertility.  As a practitioner who specializes in infertility, I have worked with the subconscious beliefs of thousands of women over the years, and I have gained—and offered here—new and different insights into what I have observed to be the real causes of infertility and the true pathway to conception.  It dissects the feelings, emotions, beliefs, and blocks that often need to be addressed in order to become pregnant, and it looks at how those obstacles can be overcome.

Why I Wrote The Mind-Body Fertility Connection

When I began working with infertility, I quickly understood how frustrating the diagnosis of “unexplained infertility” was to my clients.  In recent years, this diagnosis has often been replaced by overused phrases like “low ovarian reserve” and “poor egg quality” and comments like “too old” to conceive naturally.  The “new” descriptors are used so commonly that most clients feel like it is yet another way of saying things are “unexplained” and that they should consider assisted reproductive technologies.

The frequent “unexplained” diagnoses led me to take a more in-depth look at infertility.  What impact do the mind and emotions have on fertility? The diagnosis of “unexplained infertility” means that there is no physiological explanation for the condition, so that suggests that our stressors, our fears, and our deep subconscious programming might all be connected to this phenomenon.

Fertility is connected to intimacy issues, past sexual abuse, abusive family dynamics, inappropriate touching/uncomfortable predatory situations, miscarriages, terminations, past relationships, religious beliefs, societal beliefs and judgments, issues such as guilt and shame, self-esteem concerns, control, perfectionism, and the list goes on and on.  Is it realistic to believe that none of those issues influence our physical bodies, the stress we feel, or the ability to become pregnant?  If the real causes of infertility are strictly physical and women need drugs and medical procedures, then why are the success rates of assisted reproductive techniques so dismal?

With infertility at epidemic proportions, new perspectives in this field are long overdue. If you want a fresh new look at some of the common blocks and issues that appear to be connected to conception and full-term pregnancy, then you might want to see what this book has to offer.

As a Board Certified Hypnotherapist and the creator of the Hypnosis to Promote Fertility program, I specialize in working with the subconscious mind. Which I have discovered is where all of the valuable information and secrets regarding infertility are stored.  Few people work as intimately with the subconscious mind as a hypnotherapist, and very few hypnotists truly specialize and have explored the complicated dynamics of infertility.  What I offer in my book is a different point of view.  As I have worked with the subconscious minds of thousands of women over the years, I have gained—and offer here—a new and different take on what I have observed to be the true causes of infertility. The Mind-Body Fertility Connection offers an alternative way to help you find your pathway to conception.
